BIOGRAPHY:
His Eminence Prokopios (Tsakoumakas) of Philippoi, Neapolis and Thasos was born in 1939 in Chios. He graduated from the Ecclesiastical School of Corinth in 1953, and from the Theological School of Athens in 1963. He was ordained a bishop in 1974.
