Metropolitan Chrysostom (Zafiris) of Peristerion
His Grace Metropolitan Chrysostomos (Zafiris) was born in Arta in 1935. He has studied Theology and he has done postgraduate studies in France and Germany. He served as lecturer in many universities abroad. He was ordained a deacon in 1960 and a priest in 1970. In 1976 he was ordained a titular bishop and in 1977 he was elected as bishop of Peristeri.
